More details about this adapter kit:
- Compatible with all 1JZ and 2JZ engine (2JZ-GTE, 2JZ-GE, 1JZ-GTE, NON-VVTI AND VVTI).
- Compatible with Dodge 8HP70 (2015+ 5.7, 6.4 engine) and 8HP45 (2015+ 3.6)
- Requires JZ OEM Ring gear.
Why use a Dodge 8HP70 instead of a BMW one?
Because it's much cheaper and easier to find in North America! Here is a quick list on what to look for:
All 3.6 V6 are 8HP45 (845RE). All 5.7 or 6.4 are 8HP70.
- 2015+ Dodge Challenger RWD 3.6 V6, 5.7 and 6.4 V8;
- 2015+ Dodge Charger RWD 3.6 V6, and 5.7 V8;
- 2015+ Chrysler RWD 300 3.6 V6, and 5.7 V8;
- Not compatible with the 8HP75 transmission from RAM 2500HDs;
- Not compatible with 8HP90 transmissions (Hellcats).

- Dodge Transmission including the Torque Converter with the Perfect Tuning Adapter kit
- OEM Ring gear and non-shroulded starter
- Transmission mount and crossmember
- Driveshaft
- Transmission oil cooler, fittings and hoses with thermostat.
- OEM Shifter or sequential shifter or shift paddles.
- Transmission controller (see below)
- New oil pan/Filter
- Transmission Oil compatible with zf 8 speed transmissions.
- If a virtual clutch is wanted: Clutch pedal with position sensor and simulator.
